read in times of india sometime back….there were agitations against bulb companies for using more energy when all of us r going to b short of energy in future(supposedly by CFL companies)…..so that CFL bulbs sales boom….
but theres a flip side too…which many dont know…
when CFL bulb gets accidently ruptured it releases some harmful gases(not able to recollect which gas)…which can cause harm to human body….
unfortunately there is no such warning also given by the companies..or if its there please correct me…
normally ppl dont know much about IISc….even i never knew nething…tilll accidently i landed up for my mba interview over there…after taking almost all IITs interview was sure to get somewhere…nd was reluctant to goto IISc bangalore…
nd was about to miss my local for catching up the train..had i been 5 min late i wud have missed the train…how lady luck came in here..i got kix from all IITs(loooong waitlisted at IITK) ..IISc came to my rescue……
THANKING IISc from the bottom of my heart…after coming to know that those interviewing us were ppl who selected UPSC studs alongwith iisc faculty…feels esteemed to have struck chord with them…was utmost honest here…
Thro presentation came to know a lot of things about IISc..that GOLDMAN SACHS is a major recruiter over there..apart from other top grade companies PWC..Ernst n Young..Deloitte Consulting..IBM… coming in…batch strength small…the seniors there did a fantastic job….mainly subhashkvs…..

As it is i thot gone here…but since i was bit relaxed after having attended all GDPIS of IITs i thot of adding only quality points…
one guy started with air deccan scam he saw last day..he repeated it 3-4 times afterwards..i came in third with the reason for doing such things..competition…
2 guys and 1 gal were dominating it..next my point came about solving the problem..no1 discussed this…i added 1 more point..in all only 3 points coz i had not even an iota knowledge of gd topic…nd i showed decency…
then came the interview part..i was hellbent nervous coz subhash had told all interviewers of UPSC candidates have come in..nd he told to remain honest….i followed his advice..Thanks subhashkvs @ pagalguy…
i entered….nd shocked to see 5 ppl sitting in the panel..
q. introduce urself..
and started..was interrupted by a panelist saying i was inaudible..thot i was gone in the 1st impression itself…
q. abt mba prep…

q. the guy @ centre asked me 3 qs about chemical engg…
ans i told i dont know straightaway…
q. then eco prof asked me some maths fundas..
ans was prepared here answered satisfactorily
thats it..it lasted for 8-10mins..i thot i was gone…coz of my voice..my b.e. ans…the look of the profs…duration of interview..that day after arriving @ hotel…..felt really low
But Thank GOD after 6 days got a call from IISc that i had converted..i readily accepted on phone..This day was very imp in my life coz it relieved me of my tension of getting mba….
