7/14 ppl turned up for the gpdi..when voting started..only i raised my hand for the first topic..thinking that 1 can speak load about microfinance and hll project shakti…but smthing else was in store…rest selected 2nd topic
the guy beside me started…he was not at all audible he continued for quite sometime more than 1 minute.i saw the panels face they looked disinterested.they mite hv thot again one of those run of the mill..then it thot it was the correct time to interrupt him…i started with service sector booming coz of demographic dividend…then went onto india superpower bric report…he interrupted in between saying some gas..then i went onto sports scenario compared with china..then went to literacy and malnutrition facts of india…it seemed no1 else felt like talking…coz only both of us were talking….out of the remaining ppl sm1 wud wake up speak for 5 sec then shut up…then v continued….i also talked about maid servants and proper education…charity begins at home…role of govt nd corporate sector…
finally v were asked to summarize…i told tackle malnutrition, illiteracy head on…
then came the pi part…
1. he asked introduce urself..
told abt scholing, grad, workex, interests..
2. why mba
told about competitive advantage
3. why mba…
told lot of gas here…(wasnt convinced)
4. he asked me no need for mba…
me: mam then what should i do..(she got baffled)..i started interviewing her…
5. suggested part time mba
me: told not effective with inputs from seniors
6. the other fellow asked about pilani
